FACE IT AS IT IS

Suppose you were a stage artiste and you were to play the role of a woman, though you are actually a man.

Don't be ashamed to call quits on bad habits

You would put on a woman's dress and wig, talk and perform like a woman. But you will not forget that you are a man at the end of the act.

You would eventually get off the stage and go back to the dressing room, change into your real clothes and walk down the street. When you set out to work on Monday morning, you will talk and live like a man. It would be ridiculous for you to go back to work talking and behaving like a woman, the way you did on your role play the other night.
The same thing applies to you now. You acted in the wrong way before you knew it was wrong ( I'm not saying being a woman is a bad thing ) but now you have a new life that makes you differentiate the right from wrong.
You have been playing the role of a woman for a long time and sometimes you forget yourself and start acting like one. But then you remember again that you are actually a man and correct yourself. This is where you say " oh! I'm not a woman! I'm not on stage acting, i have to be real.!"

That is simply the same way you should stop a bad habit. No matter the habit, when you remember, and you will surely remember, STOP! Do not let the cycle of sin go on and on, and do not be ashamed or afraid to tell anyone involved in it that you cannot take part in it.
Get rid of bad habits by replacing them with good ones. Do this deliberately . Find out Godly character traits and train yourself in them through practice and you will be free from the suffering and evil of this 'cruel' life we live by today.

look for Godly character

MALIVANI II

Today it wasn't normal at my house. It was the D day. My day. My bags packed with my NEW everything and a wooden 'box' as the school requested.   And there I was, making faces to my brother, laughing at him that he didn't have any new things as I had. He just starred as if to say "woiye baby sis I just wish you knew what awaits you" But I didn't care, I was going to UKAMBANI school, with my new SHOES. I'm going to beat them all in exam, those kamba kids. Exam results was my pride, more so in Mathematics. So I'm going to show them. I kept telling myself.     The whole ride from Wote town, where I put on my NEW uniform on, was silent. Not one word was spoken. We all kept our thoughts to ourselves until we came to a stop. That's when I realised we were parked outside the school's gate. I turned to my parents just to confirm they are going to sleep in the school compound too and they did. Bingo! I had totally nothin...

THE COMMON BEACH WEAR

So, at one point in my life, I worked in the print media hoping to get myself through to the TV.  I managed to get some of my articles published with my own byline. ( Treeza can testify to this. hehe.)Well that's a story for another day. This particular one i wrote on 29/1/2014. Titled it THE COMMON BEACH WEAR IN RELATION TO OUR HEALTH, got itself published through so today I'll just give it a small touch. My articles always paved way in the LIFESTYLE column in the newspaper. Oh and by the way, Owiti Samwel, I call him Witty (I'll definitely write about him someday so relax), has been one of my loyal 'fans' throughout my print and radio experience. ( I just wanted to point it out to feel good. lol) #80403 Most of us choose to purchase used clothing for a variety of reasons. It can be down to them being cheaper than having to purchase new clothing fresh off the rack or it can be down to many having a preference of vintage clothing which has been pa...

MY CUP OF TEA

" Every time I get my period, it is just like a green light saying - you're not pregnant, carry on girl!" LOL So, the last time I updated, it was on the abortion issue and that if women cannot back out of pregnancies then men shouldn't be able to either. I got quite some reactions. Personally. Well, if you haven't had a read yet, you can peek so we could be on the same page here. Sexually transmitted infections are on the rise among all age groups, as is the abortion rate. But wait, today, in my country, or is it just in the circle of people I happen to know? Well, the number of single parents, more so mothers, has risen. Or do I say trending! It is a lifestyle now. It is as if there is something compulsive about playing the lottery of pregnancy and sexually transmitted infection. I wonder whether unprotected sex is one of the ways in which young people unconsciously explore their anxieties. Young people aren't stupid. Okay, they get dr...
